C'an Picafort is a relatively large resort situated on the north east coast of Mallorca on the lovely Bay of Alcudia, about 1hr 15mins drive away from the airport.
A typical holiday resort with a long pedestrianised promenade great for families with buggies is ideal for those seeking a quiet beachside getaway.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants; however the hotels provide much of the resort's entertainment. There are lots of souvenir type shops, clothes shops, supermarkets and an excellent local market on Fridays.
There are several activities to take part in during the day such as boat trips, horse riding, and water sports; The nearby S'Albufera Wetlands Park offers excellent bird-watching opportunities, and a chance to enjoy the local flora and fauna. Another great way to spend the day is to take a bus trip to the busier resort of Puerto de Alcudia, or Puerto Pollensa.
