The beauty of Palmanova is that it is close enough to Magalluf, 10 – 15  mins walk or 5 mins  in a taxi, yet far enough for you to be able to relax during the day. There is one long sandy beach split into three areas all with plenty of sunbeds. Only a 25 minute drive away from the airport.

 

Shopping: As with Magalluf, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets for those on self catering plus Palma, the capital of Mallorca is only about 10 mins taxi drive away. Palma is the place where you can find Zara, Mango as well as all the genuine tapas bars that Spain is famous for.

Restaurants: The long promenade that stretches along the three beaches of Palma Nova is lined with dozens of good restaurants offering British, Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian and Mexican cuisine. There is also a McDonalds in the heart of Palma Nova.
Nightlife: Plenty of bars line the streets of PalmaNova. All ideal for a few drinks before walking for 15 mins to Magalluf or a 5 min, 3 quid taxi ride.
 
Activities: During the day, PalmaNova’s beach has jet skiing, pedelos, Para-Gliding, Doughnuts and the banana ride. If you fancy a bit of competition there is a 54 hole crazy golf course to break up your holiday called Golf Fantasia. At night, its all about the karaoke bars and restaurants.
